Recently in PSHE, we were looking at the local community and the mixture of people within it and how they help us every day.
Last Thursday, we went on a local
walk around Woodford to look at the local community.
Our route consisted of walking up Snakes
Lane towards Woodford Station, going underneath the platform to look at the
buildings on the other side and then looped back round.
As we walked up Snakes Lane we stopped
and discussed the variety of building around us.
Some of the buildings we discussed
were the places of worship and shops as well as the public transport around us.
Here is what someone from our class had to
say about the local walk:
"Yesterday, we walked around the local community and seeing how it helps us. The cafe helps us by giving us food. The barber's helps us by giving us nice hairstyles. The park helps us get fit and there are friends to play with."
