In year 3 we have been learning about multiplication using grid method (2-digit)
We looked at the steps needed for grid method:
Step 1: write the calculation
Step 2: partition the 2-digit number
Step 3: add the numbers into the grid
Step 4: multiply the ones and then the tens with the ones
Step 5: add the numbers together
