This week, Year 1 were very busy, as we had some special visitors.
Earlier in the week, we got a visit from the Tear Thief! We didn't actually see the Tear Thief, but when we walked into the classroom in the morning, we noticed a letter hanging from the ceiling...
The letter was from the Tear Thief! She also left a jar of tears for us to look at and sort through, deciding what feeling each tear represented.
Later in the week, we had a visit from Mr Science. Mr Science taught us about rocket science! With his help, we made our own rockets out of straws!
