British Science Week 2024
This week in Reception we became scientists!
In class we conducted two experiments. We predicted what may happen.
Firstly we did the 'Celery Experiment'.
We wanted to know what will happen to celery in dyed water. We predicted that the celery will change colour.
Then we did the 'Skittles Experiment'.
We wanted to know what will happen to skittles when we add water.
We also had a visit from Mr Science who showed us how to create own own rockets. He showed us how to make popping rockets using bicarbonate soda and lemon juice. Then taught us to make rockets out of straws.
