This term our new topic is 'Imagine'

Imagine can be  - forming a mental image of something in your mind

or

make up words and pictures in your head to make a story

Over the week we read the book 'Use your imagination'

 by Nicola O'Byrne

 

 

The story is about a rabbit is BORED and doesn't know what to do, but Wolf has the perfect solution: “Why not write a story?” he suggests. Well, Rabbit is just delighted – what a brilliant idea! And so Wolf teaches rabbit to use his imagination to create the perfect story with lots of exciting props and interesting characters .

We discussed  the  characters, where the story was set (the setting) and what happened in the end.

We are looking forward to the children 'Using their own imagination' to create and tell their own stories in the coming weeks.
