Learning about Judaism in 4S

On Thursday 15^th February us and the rest of Year 4 enjoyed a day immersed in Jewish culture.

Firstly, we tasted delicious traditional Jewish foods and discussed our opinions of them.

Then we crafted our own star of David out of strips of paper.

 After we were able to explore the history of Jewish artefacts and understand what they are.

Finally, we ended the day with a special visit from a local Rabbi.

He showed us a variety of objects and explained the meaning of them in the Jewish culture.

During the day we were able to learn lots of new information around the Jewish culture.
