'Fossilasaurus'
Continuing with our 'Dinosaur' topic, this week we started to look at 'How' we know dinosaurs existed.
We learnt about Archaeologists, who are scientists that dig up and study the remains and artifacts of past human societies and cultures.
Also, about Palaeontology, which is the branch of science
concerned with fossil animals and plants.
Palaeontologists found about how dinosaurs lived by studying fossils.
Fossils
In craft we made our very own fossils using salt dough.
We have left them to dry out over the weekend, then next week we will play a game of 'What dinosaur is this?'
The children got creative and made their own dinosaur features with the help of an adult.
Others dressed up in our dinosaur costumes and had lots of fun stomping around the garden.
We are looi8ng forward to learning more facts about dinosaurs over the coming weeks.
Have a lovely weekend
The reception Team!
